Terms & Conditions for WOWME HOMES Short-Stay Apartments
1. Definitions
“Property”, “Apartment”, or “Unit” refers to the short-stay accommodation managed by WOWME HOMES.
“Guest” or “you” refers to the individual(s) reserving and staying at the Property.
“We”, “our”, or “WOWME HOMES” refers to the owner, operator, and manager of the Property.
“Booking” refers to a confirmed reservation made by the Guest through our website or authorised booking agents.
“Stay Period” is the duration between check-in and check-out dates inclusive.
2. Booking & Payment
A confirmed Booking is secured only upon receipt of full payment or agreed deposit, per the rates published at the time of reservation.
All rates are quoted in local currency (e.g., Nigerian Naira), inclusive of applicable service charges, but may exclude local taxes or tourist levies, which the Guest agrees to pay where relevant.
We reserve the right to request pre-authorisation on a valid credit/debit card or payment confirmation from a trusted digital platform.
3. Security Deposit
As a show of good faith to our guests, no security deposit is required to stay at any of our locations. However, we expect our guests to reciprocate the gesture and take very good care of our amenities.
4. Check-In & Check-Out
Standard check-in time: from 2:00 PM; standard check-out time: by 11:00 AM.
Late check-out may be allowed upon request and subject to availability, potentially attracting an additional charge.
Early check-in or late check-out is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing and may incur extra fees.
5. Cancellations & Modifications
Flexible/Cancellable Bookings: Guests may cancel or modify their reservation up to 48 hours before scheduled check-in without incurring penalties; any refund (minus non-refundable fees, if stated) will be issued within 7 days.
Non-Refundable or Fixed Bookings: May attract partial or no refunds upon cancellation or modification, based on the restrictions noted at the time of booking.
Changes to reservation dates, guest count, or other details are subject to availability and must be approved by WOWME HOMES. Additional charges may apply.
6. Guest Responsibilities & House Rules
Guests must agree to:
Maintain cleanliness and take reasonable care of the Property and its contents.
Adhere to noise restrictions, particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Do not engage in illegal activities or operate machinery (e.g., cooking equipment) in a hazardous manner.
Respect neighbours and the wider building community, following any building-specific rules (e.g., pool hours, shared facilities).
Dispose of waste properly, using designated bins and recycling systems where provided.
Report any damages, spills, or maintenance issues promptly.
Failure to comply may result in deductions from the security deposit or immediate termination of the Stay without refund.
7. Occupancy & Visitor Policy
The apartment's maximum occupancy is limited to the number of guests specified in the booking confirmation.
Unregistered visitors are discouraged and may only stay at the Property with prior approval.
Unauthorised occupancy may result in additional charges or termination of the Stay.
8. Pets
Pets are allowed only in Properties explicitly labelled as “pet-friendly.”
A non-refundable pet fee and/or an additional pet security deposit may apply.
Guests must ensure pets are cleaned up after, do not cause damage, and are under control at all times.
9. Smoking
All Properties are strictly non-smoking, unless otherwise stated. Smoking equivalents such as vaping or incense are also prohibited.
Evidence of smoking may lead to cleaning fees or full loss of the security deposit.
10. Liability & Indemnity
Guests agree to indemnify WOWME HOMES against any liabilities, claims, losses, or damages (including legal and court costs) arising from their negligence or violation of these Terms.
We take reasonable measures to ensure guest safety and Property security, but cannot be held liable for personal injury, theft, or loss of personal property, unless resulting directly from our negligence or breach of local laws.
11. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or utility outages). Guests may be offered a rescheduled Stay or a refund at our discretion, depending on the situation and timing of notice.
12. Privacy & Data Security
Guest information collected for booking, payment, and entry is handled by applicable data protection and privacy laws.
We do not share guests personal data with third parties outside of operational necessity (e.g., cleaning staff, security), unless required by law.
13. Amendments to Terms
WOWME HOMES reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Guests will be bound by the Terms in force at the point of booking.
We encourage Guests to review these Terms regularly.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Applicable Jurisdiction/Country].
